The Sun Pub
in Wheatley

Welcome to The Sun, our home away from home in Wheatley, Oxfordshire. We are proud to serve you local ale on our 4 hand pumps, including beer from The Oxford Brewery and Abingdon’s Loose Cannon Brewery.

 

We strive to make our pub a cosy setting, where you can relax with your friends and family, and your four-legged companions! The pub itself has exposed stone, two log burners and beautiful beams throughout. Further behind the bar is our extended seating area where we often host evening events such as arts & crafts, and tastings.

 

Outside we have a wonderful sun-trap garden, which - according to locals - is how the pub got its name. Here there is plenty of seating, both on the patio and covered, so come rain or shine you can enjoy the tranquil of the outdoor space.
